This model is taken from the 28mm plastic '45mm Anti Tank Gun' set from the Plastic Soldier Company (PSC). This model depicts the 45mm anti-tank gun M1942 and is one of three available options you can make. The boxset for the 28mm version contains enough parts and figures to make two guns complete with crew.
There is a far better detailed review, of the 1/72 scale kit, on the Plastic Soldier Review site (

Very nice model and base. I really like it
ReplyDeleteThanks Anibal.
DeleteCracking work Matt. Anibal is right, that base is very nice. I like the ammo box you've put on there.
ReplyDeleteThank you Anne, there are quite a few bits and pieces in the box that definitely add to the overall look.
DeleteWonderfully painted and based. You say they are 28mm, how do they compare with Warlords are Artizan?
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Pat.
Thanks Silver Whistle, the PSC figures from this set are slightly less bulky and smaller than the Warlord figures. The infantry set PSC produced aren't that good (I'm painting some at the moment but they don't have the detail or character of Warlord's figures). It also appears that PSC are no longer developing their 28mm range. I don't have any Artisan so can't compare, sorry.
DeleteThanks for the info, I will probably do like you and use these for support weapons and use Warlord for the infantry.
DeleteCheers,
Pat.
Another cracking piece of work Matt, really love the base!
ReplyDeleteCheers Michael.
